well tomorrow is the national day.... well my home Malaysia ...
well i would say my home as i was born here not anywhere else....
if you ask me am i a chinese ? the answer is yea... as in from china? hell no.....
i cant even speak chinese properly what makes me a real chinese ???
but i am proud to say that i am better than any mainland chinese as i am multi-lingual !
i speak chinese and english since young ... was later taught malay in schools
well if you ask me am i a chinese ? i would love to say erm malaysian ?
but issues of racism rising... (such a shame)
i am from Malaysia and Malaysia only both my parents too...
i don't get it what s wrong with the older generations still lingering in those issues of Bumiputera and non bumi's...
if achieving 1 malaysia is in mind then the rights of the people in malaysia must not be define by our skin colors....
to me malaysian is malaysian not malay, chinese, indian or any other races....
i am happy to have lived in Malaysia a country i can call my home...
filled with wonderful places, different cultures and ethnicity....
a true merdeka spirit is when each everyone of us let go of our ego of skin colors and forget of the past.....
why i say so ?
well, issues only comes in if the old keep feeding the younger generations with with stories of the past....
the only way for malaysia to be truly achieve its freedom is by liberate younger people's mind from this stories.... we are all educated from young we don't need any other people to tell us the stories over and over again.... so...
why stick with the past when everyone is walking towards future...
well let us younger generation stop thinking about the past and walk to the future together....
then we are at least a few step closer to becoming a great country
i just read a blog post from the great grand daughter of our the late Tunku Abdul Rahman regarding this issue....
well i feel what she said was quite true....
(For the concept to succeed, I think the government should stop with the race politics. It's tiring, really. We grew up with application forms asking us to tick our race. We should stop painting a negative image of the other races, stop thinking about 'us' and 'them' and focus on 'we', 'our' and 'Malaysians'.) quoted from her blog
well i truly hope the idea's of Malaysia as One could come true.....
Happy Birthday Malaysia
Merdeka !!
